Downloading Iomega v.Clone Beta 2 Software:

This software is “Beta,” which means that the product is still under development and may quite possibly contain bugs. Iomega releases beta software for testing purposes, hoping to learn about any issues and improve the Software to prepare for the future release of a completed, production version.

Iomega corporation or, outside of the Americas, Iomega International S.A., is willing to license this pre-release software to you on the condition that you accept all of the terms of the pre-release software license agreement. System Requirements*:

Primary Computer (computer to be cloned):

• 1.3 GHz or faster x86-compatible or x64-compatible processor with Intel VT or AMD-V technology
• 1 GB of RAM
• 1 GB of available hard disk space, with the system partition on an NTFS-formatted volume
• Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate or Enterprise, or Microsoft Windows 7
• A Windows user account with administrator permissions
• A supported Iomega USB hard disk drive (see below)

Host Computers (computers on which a clone of the primary computer can be run):

• 1.3 GHz or faster x86-compatible or x64-compatible processor with Intel VT or AMD-V technology
• 1 GB of RAM (2 GB or more recommended)
• 1 GB of available hard disk space
• Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7
• A Windows user account with administrator permissions
• A supported Iomega USB hard disk drive containing a clone

Supported Iomega USB Hard Disk Drives**:

• Current Iomega USB hard disk drives formatted for Windows
• Most Iomega USB hard disk drives manufactured since 2007

* Licenses for individual software products on your computer may limit your usage; each user is responsible for knowing and abiding by all applicable license limits for the user’s software.

** Must be NTFS-formatted. The original Iomega eGo Encrypt, Iomega eGo Helium, and Iomega Network Hard Drives are not supported by v.Clone. See Answer ID 22427 for information on supported Iomega hard drives.

How to install v.Clone

• Uninstall the previous version of v.Clone
• Manually uninstall the following two included components (using Remove Software in the Control Panel):
• VMware Player
• VMware Virtual Disk Development Kit


• Reboot your system
• Install vclone-1.2.15.16456.exe
