Getting Started

Here's how to get started using your Zip^® 100^™ Parallel Port drive:

1. Unpack the Zip^® drive and accessories.

   

   NOTE: A 100MB* Zip^® disk is not included and will need to be purchased in order to use your Zip drive. For maximum reliability, use only genuine 100MB* Zip disks.

2. Install the IomegaWare software

   NOTE: Installing IomegaWare^™ software installs the drivers your computer needs to support the Zip^® drive. If the necessary drivers are not installed, the Zip drive might not be recognized or might not work correctly.

3. Connect your Zip Parallel Port drive

*100MB capacity where 1MB = 1 million bytes. The capacity reported by your operating system may vary.
