Getting Started

Here's how to get started using your Jaz^® drive:

1. Unpack the Jaz^® drive and accessories.

(includes mounting screws)

Internal Jaz^® 2GB SCSI Drive

NOTE: A 2GB*Jaz^® disk is not included and will need to be purchased in order to use your Jaz drive. For maximum reliability, use only genuine 2GB Jaz disks. The 3.5" Installation Kit is not needed when installing on a Mac-compatible computer.




2. Install the IomegaWare software.

   NOTE: Installing IomegaWare^™ software installs the drivers needed on your computer to support the Jaz^® Internal SCSI drive. If the necessary drivers are not installed, the Jaz Internal SCSI drive may not work correctly or be recognized.



3. Install your the Jaz Internal SCSI drive

*Where 2GB = 2 billion bytes. The capacity reported by your operating system may differ, depending on the operating system and reporting utility.
