MusicMatch Jukebox

Windows NT® 4.0 Users: You must have Service Pack 4 or higher and Internet Explorer® 4.0 or higher installed on your system to use MusicMatch Jukebox.
MusicMatch JukeboxUpgrade Key for PC Users
The upgrade key must be entered exactly as shown on the printed documentation that came with your player at the appropriate time during installation of MusicMatch Jukebox software. This will unlock additional software features and upgrade the software to MusicMatch Jukebox Plus. These program features include faster CD ripping, faster CD burning, and a print function for creation of custom CD and jewel case labels.
If you have already installed MusicMatch Jukebox software without inputting the upgrade key, follow the instructions below:
From the Register menu in MusicMatch Jukebox software choose Enter Key and input the 23 character alphanumeric code exactly as printed on the label in your printed documentation (including hyphens and matching case).
Press the OK key.
MusicMatch Jukebox software will be immediately upgraded and additional features unlocked.

Playing Music Using MusicMatch Jukebox
MusicMatch Jukebox automatically lists any supported music files that reside on any of your drives. To play the listed music, double click on the song in the Music Library window or drag and drop the song into the Playlist window.
Converting Files From Your Audio CD
You can convert files from an audio CD to an audio file format that can be used on your player.
Insert an audio CD into your CD-ROM drive.
In the Recorder window, check the box next to the audio tracks you want to convert.
Under the Options menu, highlight Recorder and then Quality. Select the quality and file format to which you would like use. Only MP3 and WMA are playable on a HipZip player.
Press the Record button in the Recorder window.
On a PC, click OK when the dialog box appears.
By default, MusicMatch Jukebox copies the audio files to the My Music directory under My Documents on the PC or to the Music directory in the MusicMatch folder on the Mac®. To change the default directory, see "Changing Where Music Files Are Stored" below.

Copying Music to Iomega Disks
You can drag and drop your music files from your hard drive onto Iomega disks,including your PocketZip disks.
For PC Users:
Drag the songs from the Music Library Window to the Playlist window.
The song will start playing automatically. Click on the stop button.
Click Options.
Click Send to Device.
Click Download Playlist to Iomega.
Select the audio files you want to copy to your Iomega disk.
Click Download to Player.
Click done when you are finished copying files.

Changing Where Music Files Are Stored
Whenever you convert audio files to a different format, MusicMatch Jukebox automatically copies the new files to the My Music directory under My Documents on the PC or to the Music directory in the MusicMatch folder on the Mac®. You can change the location where MusicMatch copies files.
For PC Users:
Click Options and click Settings.
Click the Recorder tab.
Click the Songs Directory button.
Set the storage location for your music in the Directory for New Songs field.
NOTE: You can set MusicMatch Jukebox to copy files directly to your Iomega disks.
For Mac® Users:
Click Edit and click Preferences.
Click the Recorder tab.
Click the Change button and set the storage location for your music.
Click choose and click OK.

Organizing Music Files
MusicMatch Jukebox displays all available music files in the music library window and enables you to organize your available music files in playlists.
To add files to your music library:
Click Add in the Music Library window.
Select the location where the music you want to add exists. (On the PC, MusicMatch Jukebox searches all the subdirectories for music files.)
Click OK on a PC. Click Open on a Mac®.
To create a playlist:
Drag songs from your Music Library window to your Playlist window.
Click Save in the Playlist window.
On the Mac®, select the location where you want to save your Playlist.
Enter a name for your Playlist.
Click Save.
To open a playlist:
Click Open in the Playlist window.
Click the Playlist icon.
Select the appropriate playlist and click Play on a PC. Click Open on a Mac®.
