Converting Files From Your Audio CD
You can convert files from an audio CD to an audio file format that can be used on your player. Windows Media Player defaults to converting files into a secure format. To change this setting, consult the Windows Media Player 7 Help.
Insert your CD into the CD-ROM drive.
Click CD Audio. If you are connected to the Internet, the Windows Media Player will automatically attempt to retrieve the Artist's name, CD title and the names of each of the tracks. If it does not detect the track names, you can click on the Get Names button and either search for the name of the CD in the database on the Web or manually enter the names yourself.
If you have not previously copied tracks from the CD, all tracks are selected. Clear the check box next to any track you do not wish to copy.
Click Copy Music.
All selected tracks are copied to the Archive folder and are listed in the Media Library.

Copying Music to Iomega Disks
You can transfer your music files from your hard drive onto Iomega disks, including your PocketZip disks. Because some of your music files may be in "secure format," it is necessary to follow the steps below rather than just dragging and dropping files to a disk.
Click the Portable Device feature.
In the Music to Copy list, check the box next to each file you wish to copy. The list of songs you can choose from is organized by your playlists, however, you can select other albums or playlists from the Music to Copy drop-down box. Use the check mark icon at the top of the list to select all items or clear all items in the Music to Copy dialog box.
Clear any check boxes for tracks you do not want to copy, and then click Copy Music.
Repeat steps 2-3 for any other playlist or album you want to copy to your portable device.
