Instructions for Mac OS Users Instructions for Windows PC Users Using IomegaWare Software Uninstalling IomegaWare Software   Installing IomegaWare™ software installs the drivers and tools needed on your computer to support your Iomega drives, including the FotoShow™ Zip® 250 drive. Instructions for Mac® OS Users Start your Mac® and wait for the Mac OS desktop to finish loading. Insert the IomegaWare™ CD into the CD-ROM drive on your Mac®. NOTE: Make sure the CD is pushed all the way down on the CD-ROM spindle. Double click the IomegaWare™ install icon in the IomegaWare window. If you can't see the IomegaWare™ window, double click the CD icon on your Mac® desktop. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the software. Connect your Zip 250 drive. | top of page | Instructions for Windows® PC Users Start your PC and wait for Windows® to finish loading. NOTE: If Windows® is already running, close all applications before proceeding. Insert the IomegaWare™ CD into the computer's CD-ROM drive. If the Iomega software setup program does not start automatically, follow these steps: Open My Computer or Windows Explorer. Double click the CD drive letter (usually D:, E:, or F:). Double click Setup. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the software. Connect your Zip 250 drive. | top of page | Using IomegaWare™ Software You can use IomegaWare™ software to format, copy, and protect your Zip® disks. For users with Windows® 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me, IomegaWare also includes a drive letter manager feature that makes it easy to change the drive letter assigned to your Zip drive and other removable drives on your system. After the software is installed, you can find information on using IomegaWare™ software in the help files available on your system. Mac® OS Users Open the Tools application program and click the Help button. You can also find help manuals inside the IomegaWare folder and inside the Iomega Application folders on the disk you selected for installation (usually the Mac® hard disk). Windows® PC Users IomegaWare™ software includes complete help information in HTML format. You can access IomegaWare help by following these instructions: Right click on the Zip® drive icon in My Computer or Windows Explorer. Select Properties. Click the tab for Iomega. Click the Help button. | top of page | Uninstalling IomegaWare™ Software NOTE: Uninstalling IomegaWare software earlier than version 2.5 removes the software applications originally installed with that version of IomegaWare software (such as Iomega Backup). If you want to continue using these applications, you can download them separately from the Iomega website at http://www.iomega.com/software. If you uninstall IomegaWare software and do not reinstall an applicable version of IomegaWare™ software, your Iomega product will not work correctly. To Uninstall: Macintosh® Users—Drag the IomegaWare™ application folder icon from your hard drive to the trash. PC Users—To remove IomegaWare™ software, go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove programs and scroll down to IomegaWare.
