Although the box for your Iomega DVD drive may not have shown Macintosh® support, you can use your drive as a DVD burner on a Macintosh computer if supported burning software is used. Iomega offers a solution for Iomega DVD drive customers who are using Mac OS 9.2.x or Mac OS 10.2 or newer (not supported in Mac OS 10.1.x). The versions of Iomega HotBurn® and Adaptec® Toast that shipped with the Iomega CD-RW (ZipCD 650) drives will not work with Mac OS X. There are a few options you may choose when using your drive with Mac OS X:
Important: Iomega recommends that you download the latest Disk Recording update (version 1.3.5 or higher) using the Software Update option located in System Preferences.
