The full error message is: "You cannot add music CD tracks to a Data CD Layout. To record a CD that includes music CD tracks, create an Audio CD Layout, or create a Mixed-Mode or CD Extra Layout.". This error message occurs when you drag-and-drop an audio CD track from the Easy CD Creator™ Explorer window into the CD Layout window.

To prevent this error, you must select the "Empty Audio CD Layout" option before you try to drag-and-drop a track from an audio CD into the CD Layout window. This error message should not reappear after the "Empty Audio CD Layout" option is selected.

The layout options are located on the left-hand side of the CD Layout window under Mixed-Mode or CD Extra. You must select the appropriate layout option before you drag an audio or data file into the CD Layout window. Please refer to the illustrations below for information on how to locate the "Empty Data Layout" or "Empty Audio CD Layout" options.
