Media issues are common throughout the CD-RW drive industry. Because CD media vendors often change disc suppliers, quality levels may change due to manufacturing differences. This means that you may encounter CD creation problems with media that may have worked successfully before. Overall system configuration and other factors may also affect the success of creating a CD.

The following media types have been tested by Iomega®. Iomega highly recommends that you use the media types on this list when creating your CDs.

Not all brands of media have been tested by Iomega and, therefore, you may encounter success with other brands not listed. This list will be updated as other media is tested.. This list is frequently updated and media vendors may be added or removed, so please check back often.

Note: 90 or 99 minute discs are not supported nor recommended for use by Iomega. For more information about 90 or 99 minute disc support, please go to http://www.iomega.com/support/documents/10943.html All Iomega CD-RW (ZipCD 650) drives are capable of writing to all discs up to 700MB or 80 minutes. However, you may receive an error message stating that there is not enough space on the disc when using older versions of Easy CD Creator™ to create a CD larger than 650MB or 74 minutes. Ignore the message and proceed with the CD creation process to create your CD.
