Troubleshooting an Iomega® Parallel Port drive not detected when using an HP® DeskJet® 680C printer in Windows NT® Document # 10490.html
Your Zip® Parallel Port drive or Jaz® drive, connected to a Jaz Traveller, may not be detected or accessible because of a printer driver conflict encountered after you install your HP® DeskJet® 680C printer. Please use the following steps to help resolve this issue.
Click Start, Settings, then Control Panel.
Double-click the Printers folder.
Delete the HP DeskJet 680C printer icon from the Printers folder to uninstall the printer drivers.
Reinstall the printer drivers and choose to install the HP DeskJet 660C printer drivers instead.
Install the Core printer driver package only.
Reboot and try to access your Zip or Jaz drive again.
If your drive is detected, you should now be ready to use your Zip or Jaz drive.
