HP® DeskJet® printers maintain bi-directional communication between the computer and printer, causing a conflict when using the Iomega® parallel port drive. The HP DeskJet 820Cse printer's bi-directional communication cannot be disabled.

You can install a second parallel port on the computer, giving each device it's own port. This will allow both the Iomega parallel port drive and the HP DeskJet printer to work on the same computer. Please contact your computer dealer for advice and instructions on installing a second parallel port on the computer.
