Search Tips |
|
- Check your spelling.
- Avoid questions, use keywords of one or two words.
- Refine your search use by using the "Search Result by Category" box.

- Use the "next" button to find additional results - remember your answer may not always be on the first page.

- Use quotation marks to find words which must appear adjacent to each other, for example, "windows xp drivers". Otherwise, the search results will include the word windows, xp, and drivers, but not necessarily in that order.

- Wildcard searches can expand the number of matches for a particular search. The * is used as the wildcard character. For example, searching for wh* will find the words what, why, when, whether, and any other word that starts with wh. Searching for *her* will find the words here, whether, together and any other word that contains her anywhere in the word.
Examples: wh* wh* are 40x*x*
- Use a plus sign when your search word must appear in the search results. Use a minus sign to indicate an undesirable word. The plus sign tells our search engine that a certain word is required in the search results, a minus sign indicates that a word must be absent in the search results.
- Use a field search to create specific searches for words that appear in a specific part of a document. A field search can be performed on body text (body:), title text (title:), meta description (desc:), URL (url:) or meta keywords (keys:). The filed name should be in lowercase and immediately followed by a colon. There should be no spaces between the colon and the search term.
Examples: body:registration title:drivers url:help desc:zip 750 keys:predator
