This document gives you quick and easy steps for burning an audio CD with your Iomega CDRW™ drive using the Adaptec® Easy CD Creator™ Wizard.

Using the Wizard to make an audio CD

Important: Adaptec Easy CD Creator is designed to assist you in reproducing material of which you own the copyright or have obtained permission to copy from the copyright owner. Unless you own the copyright or have permission to copy from the copyright owner, you may be violating copyright law and be subject to payment of damages and other remedies. If you are uncertain about your rights, contact your legal advisor.

The easiest way to make a CD is to use the Easy CD Creator Wizard. The Wizard guides you step-by-step in how to make a simple audio CD. If you are new to CD-R technology, the Wizard is an excellent way to become familiar with the CD recording process and making an audio CD.

To open Easy CD Creator and use the Wizard to begin creating your own audio CD, follow the steps below while reading the on-screen instructions in the Wizard windows.

1. Place a blank CD in the Iomega CDRW drive.
   
   
2. Click Start, Programs, Iomega®CDRW, then Easy CD Creator.
   
   
3. In the Adaptec Easy CD Creator Wizard window, click Audio CD.
   
   
4. Click Next.
   
   
5. Use the Wizard window to highlight the audio tracks, files or folders you want to add to your CD.
   
   
6. Click Add Now. Continue doing this until you have added all the selections you want.
   

   Note: If you make a mistake and want to start again with your selections, click Back. To see a list of the audio tracks you are adding to your CD, move the Easy CD Creator Wizard screen to view the main Easy CD Creator window.

7. Click Next.
   
   
8. Type in any information you would like to provide in the Disc Title and Artist Name boxes.
   
   
9. Click Next.
   
   
10. Click Close the session.
    
    
11. Click Next.
    
    
12. Click Perform the test.
    
    
13. Click Next.
    
    
14. Click Create CD now.
    
    
15. Click Finish.
    
    
16. While the CD is created, a window appears which displays the CD writing progress.
    

    Note: For more detailed information, click the Details button. To cancel the process, click the Cancel button.

17. When the process is complete, the CD tray opens. This is normal.
    
    
18. Click the OK button on the CD Creation Process window to continue.
    
    

Your CD has now been created.
