When you try to delete a file or folder from CD-RW media, you may get one of the following error messages:

• Error deleting file or folder
  
  
• Cannot delete [filename]
  
  
• Files on this CD-ROM drive are read-only
  
  

This happens because the disc has not been formatted. A disc must be formatted in order to remove single files or folders. You will need to reformat the CD-RW disc to prevent these errors from recurring.
