The type of device that will recognize the discs you create depends upon the type of disc used.
CD-R discs: Almost every CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drive can read CD-R discs and CD-R discs that contain VCD movies. You can play CD audio CD-R discs in any home or car CD player. However, if you created a CD with MP3s, you can only play the disc on a CD player that is also an MP3 player. If you make a VCD disc, only newer home DVD players will read them.
