Important: The HotBurn Pro software that supports DVD writing, version 2.3.1 or higher, does not support copying a copyright protected DVD disc.

Copy a CD using your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM as the source and your CD or DVD rewriteable drive as the destination drive

Note: Creating a CD or DVD disc using your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive as the source drive increases your chance of experiencing CD creation errors when copying. If you encounter problems copying CDs or DVDs when using your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive as the source drive, then the audio extraction rate of your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive may be to slow. Try copying your CD or DVD disc using only your CD or DVD rewriteable drive as shown in the steps above

  1. Place the CD or DVD disc you want to copy into your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.

  2. Open the HotBurn software.

  3. Click the CD Copy button.

  4. For the Source: click Select, CD Drive, choose your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive from the drive list and then click the OK button.

  5. For the Destination: click Select, CD-R/RW Drive, choose your CD or DVD rewriteable drive from the drive list and then click the OK button.

  6. Click the Create CD button.

  7. Once the CD writing session is done, click the Complete button.
