The Iomega® Mini Lock software will not work in Windows® 98. The Iomega Mini Lock software will only work in the following Windows operating systems:

• Windows 98 SE
  
  
• Windows Me
  
  
• Windows 2000
  
  
• Windows XP
  
  

If you are not sure whether you are using Windows 98 or Windows 98 SE, use the following steps to identify your operating system version.

1. Right-click the My Computer icon and choose Properties.
   
   
2. Click on the General tab.
   
   
3. Compare the version of Windows you are using with the picture below.
