The reason that the Iomega® Mini USB drive is not mounting on a Macintosh® running Mac® OS 8.6 is because the USB Mass Storage Support on the Macintosh needs to be updated.

1. Go to http://www.apple.com/support
   
   
2. Search for USB Mass Storage Support.
   
   
3. Select USB Mass Storage Support 1.3.5, which should be the first result on the page.
   
   
4. Choose the software icon to download the software.
   
   
5. Download the installer to your desktop.
   
   
6. Once the download has completed, run the installer to update your USB Mass Storage Support.
