There are a few things to check if you are receiving a "Drive is not accessible", "X:\ is not accessible" (X representing the drive letter assigned) error messages or if the disc cannot be read. Please try the following:
- Ensure that the disc you are trying to access is in the correct drive. If you try to access a drive that does not have a disc present, you will receive this error.
- Check all of the cable connections between your drive and computer to ensure that they are secure.
- If you are using a rewriteable disc (CD-RW, DVD+RW, etc.), format the disc and then try to access it again.
- Ensure that a UDF reader application is installed when trying to read a formatted disc (one written to using the HotBurn Drag'N'Drop feature, DirectCD, etc.).
- Uninstall and reinstall the software.
- Access the disc using another drive.
