"TPP.sys" or "TPP300.sys" error messages may occur when installing or connecting an Iomega USB 2.0 drive to a USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port in Windows 98/98SE. Please use the following steps to help correct this error.

STEP ONE - Load the TPP driver using your solutions CD

Please insert the solutions CD that came with your drive into your CD-ROM drive. The solution CD will load the TPP driver automatically.

If the error does not reappear, you can now use your drive.

If the message reappears, please continue with the next step.

STEP TWO - Download the USB and FireWire (1394) update module

Please download and install the USB and FireWire (1394) update module from the Iomega Software Download site at http://www.iomega.com/software/listing/_98.html?platform=PC&url=%2Fsoftware%2Flisting%2F_98.html&submit=Find. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen installation instructions.

If the error does not reappear, you can now use your drive.
