Your system may hang or freeze while using the Iomega® HotBurn® or HotBurn® Pro software if your CD-RW firmware is not up to date. Please contact your CD-RW manufacturer for information on available firmware updates.
You may also experience system problems if the IDE Bus Mastering drivers for your CD-RW drive are old or corrupt, which can cause the driver to incorrectly enable DMA. Please contact your computer manufacturer or the IDE card manufacturer for information about updated drivers. If an updated driver is not available or does not correct this problem, disabling DMA for your CD-RW drive may help. Please use the following steps to disable DMA for your CD-RW drive.
