Iomega® HotBurn® or HotBurn® Pro software makes it easy to create your own custom mixed mode CDs with your CD-RW drive. . By using the mixed mode CD option, you can simply and easily create one CD that contains both your data and audio files. Please use the following steps to create an audio CD using HotBurn.

1. Place a blank CD-R disc into your CD-RW drive.
   
   
2. The HotBurn software should automatically open.
   

   Note: If the HotBurn software does not automatically open; click Start, Programs, Iomega HotBurn and Iomega HotBurn.

3. Click the HotBurn options button and click Enable Mixed Mode CD? to place a check mark in front of the option.
   
   
4. Click the Mixed button, located between the Music CD and Data CD buttons.
   
   
5. Click the Data CD button.
   
   
6. Click the Explore button to navigate to the location your data files are stored.
   
   
7. Click the data files you want to add to your CD and drag them into the CD layout window. You may also click the Add button to add the selected data files to the CD layout.
   
   
8. Continue adding data files to the CD layout window until all of the files you want are presentl.
   
   
9. Click the Audio CD button.
   
   
10. Click the Explore button to navigate to the location your audio files are stored.
    
    
11. Click the audio files you want to add to your CD and drag them into the CD layout window. You may also click the Add button to add the selected audio files to the CD layout.
    

    Note: All of the audio files added to the CD will be listed first so that the CD can be played on a CD audio player. Do not drag audio tracks directly from a CD audio disc to the layout window. CD audio tracks must be converted into compressed audio file formats before they are added to the layout window.

12. Continue adding audio files to the CD layout window until all the songs you want are present or until the disc is full.
    

    Note: Click the Settings button to view the HotBurn CD creation settings. Iomega recommends that you select the 'Simulate First?' and 'Pre-copy all audio files to the hard drive first?' options if you are experiencing CD creation errors.

13. Click the Create CD button.
    
    
14. Once the CD writing session is done, click the Complete button.
    
    

You have now created your own custom audio CD using HotBurn.
