How do I convert my CD audio files into MP3, WAV or WMA audio files using Easy CD Creator™ version 4.02c or higher?
Document # 11044e.html

Easy CD Creator™ version 4.02c or higher can quickly and easily convert your CD audio files (tracks) into MP3, WAV or WMA audio files. Please use the following steps.

Note: To verify what version of Easy CD Creator you have; open the Easy CD Creator application, click Help and About Easy CD Creator to view the version number.

  1. Insert an audio CD into your CD-ROM drive.

  2. Click Start, Programs, Iomega CD-RW or Iomega ZipCD, Features and Easy CD Creator.

  3. Using the Explorer window, which is the top portion of the Easy CD Creator window, navigate to the location where your audio CD is located and double-click the CD-ROM drive's icon.

Note: If you would like the titles of the audio files you are converting to be present, right-click one of the audio files listed in the Explorer window and select rename to type in the name of the file. Continue doing this until all of the audio files are named.

  4. If you want to convert the entire CD into MP3, WAV or WMA files, click Edit at the top of the Easy CD Creator window and then click Select All. If you just want to convert a single audio file, click the audio file to highlight it.

  5. At the top of the Easy CD Creator window, click the Extract button.

  6. Select the file and/or format type you want to use to convert your audio file(s).

Note: You can view more options by clicking the Advanced button.

  7. Click the Save button.

  8. The Extracting Audio Track to File window should now appear.

  9. Once the program is finished, your CD audio file(s) should be converted into the file and/or format type you selected.
