What should I do if I cannot delete files from the CD layout window when using the Easy CD Creator™ software?
Document # 11041e.html

This problem occurs when the Adaptec® (Roxio™) Easy CD Creator™ software does not install correctly or when the software is corrupt. Please use the following steps to uninstall and reinstall the Easy CD Creator software to help correct this problem.

STEP ONE - Disconnect your CD-RW drive

  1. Turn off your computer.

  2. Disconnect your CD-RW drive's USB or ATAPI cable from your computer.

    Internal CD-RW users:

Warning: Before opening the case on your computer or before touching the internal components, always turn off the power and disconnect your computer's power cord from the electrical outlet. To discharge personal static electricity, touch a grounded metal object such as a metal screw attached to the cover of your computer. A screw that is attached to your computer chassis is grounded. If you do not discharge personal static electricity, you risk damaging your hardware and possible loss of your data.

Caution: Removing your computer cover may void your manufacturer's warranty agreement. Before removing your computer cover, check your computer manufacturer's warranty information.
