Why does the lid open before the end of the CD recording session while using Easy CD Creator™ with my Iomega® CD-RW Predator™ drive? Document #10840e.html The Easy CD Creator™ software was designed to do a self test at the end of a CD recording session. During this self test, the software ejects the disc and pulls it back into the drive. Because of the top opening design of the Iomega® CD-RW Predator™ drive, the software cannot do this self test. Even though Easy CD Creator states the CD recording session is not complete, the CD recording session is actually done and the CD should work fine.
