A bad power connection can cause your Iomega® CD-RW (ZipCD 650) or DVD drive to not receive power. Please use the following steps to help correct this problem.
- Ensure that you are using the Iomega universal power supply that came with your drive.
- Check all the power supply connections to ensure that they are secure.
- If the back of your drive has a detachable interface module, ensure that the connection between the interface module and the drive is secure.
- Ensure that the power outlet is working properly by plugging the drive's power supply into a different wall outlet.
- If possible, try a different power supply to see if the first one is defective.
If the drive still does not receive power after checking the items above, please contact Iomega Technical Support at http://www.iomega.com/europe/support/english/en_contact.html for further troubleshooting and/or to have your power supply replaced.
