CD-RW Discs
CD-RW discs allow you to erase data and rewrite new information to the disc. They are ideal to back up and share files with colleagues and transport files between computers. CD-RW discs allow you to make a practice CD or test the contents of a CD before making a permanent one.
You can use CD-RW discs to:
- Transport large data files between computers
- Archive data
- Store large data files while you work on them
- Update important files each week
- Back up a hard drive
Note: Only CD-RW drives can read and write data to CD-RW discs. Multi-read CD-ROM drives can read (but not write to) CD-RW discs.
