To install your Zip® drive on a computer that does not have a CD-ROM drive, download the installation software from the Iomega® Web site. Depending upon your needs, you can select one of two types of downloads:

• IomegaWare™ drivers only package
• IomegaWare software package

Download the IomegaWare drivers only package:

The IomegaWare drivers only package for Windows® 98/95 contains the files necessary to make your drive work and should be small enough to fit on a floppy.

1. Go to http://www.iomega.com/software/index_en.html
   
   
2. In the gray bar along the top of the page, click Software Listing.
   
   
3. Select PC from the Platform drop-down menu.
   
   
4. Select Drivers only from the category drop-down menu.
   
   
5. Click Find.
   
   
6. Locate the driver file for the operating system you are using and click Download Now.
   
   
7. Choose the Save file to disk option and save the file to the desktop.
   
   
8. Double-click the downloaded file to install the driver.
   
   

   Note: You can also save the file to a floppy instead of your desktop.

Download the IomegaWare software package

The IomegaWare™ software contains the drivers needed to use your Iomega® drive as well as the following software utilities:

• Format - Used to format your Iomega disks
• Protect - Used to read/write protect your Iomega disks
• Disk Copy - Used to copy from one Iomega disk to another Iomega disk

1. Go to http://www.iomega.com/software/index_en.html
   
   
2. Select your Product, your Operating System and your Language.
   
   
3. Click Find.
   
   
4. The IomegaWare software package should be the first listing in the results returned.
