Iomega® Affiliate Program - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What products earn commissions?
A: We will pay you up to 6% commission on all
Iomega products you sell subject to the terms of the
program. Exceptions are those products offered
by our partners for sale on the Iomega Site. We will
occasionally make special offers available to you with
higher commissions.
Q: How much will it cost me to join?
A: The Iomega Affiliates Program is free to join
and all links are provided free of charge. There is
no on-going fee to remain an Affiliate. As a matter
of fact, there are no fee's passed on to our Affiliates
at all. Click

Q: How often will I get paid?
A: You will be sent a check every month if you
earn at least $25.00 in commissions from your sales
of Iomega products. If commissions of $25.00 are not
reached in a month, you will receive a check when they
reach that amount or at the end of the fiscal year,
whichever comes first.
Q: How long is the referral tracked?
A: We are able to give Affiliates credit for referrals
they have made within the last 31 days. This gives you
the comfort in knowing that if a customer purchases
within the next month you will be given credit for the
purchase and a full commission paid to you!
Q: How are orders tracked and credited to my site?
A: Our reporting system tracks and calculates
the commissions that are owed to you. These reports
are available to you anytime online.
Q: What kind of support and reporting can I expect from the Iomega
Affiliates Program?
A: The Iomega reporting system is an accurate
method for tracking and reporting Affiliate sales and
utilizes the LinkShare Network to administrate the program.
As an Affiliate, you'll receive valuable support (including technical support)
on an ongoing basis by emailing us at
affiliates@iomega.com. Through our network, you'll have access to extensive
reporting on sales activity from your site. We will provide you with a private,
password-protected home page to monitor the success of your program. There are
over 10 reports (updated daily), including:
- Net Orders Report:
Track the number of orders from customers
referred by your site, including cancellations and returns.
- Link Type Report:
Discover which of your links are working most effectively
for you. Drill down to track and compare the performance
of each Iomega link type you use, each individual link,
and the place on your site where a link appears.
- Individual Item Report:View your
sales activity broken down individually by time and date of
each sale. This report allows you to see exactly when and
what sales occurred for your participating programs.
- Sales and Activity Report: View impressions,
click-throughs, sales, commissions, and more.
- Quantity/Price Report:
Learn how many Iomega products customers referred
from your site purchase. Also learn how much these customers spend.
Q: How long does it take for me to start posting your banners
and earning money?
A: Once you register for the program and agree
to our program terms and conditions, you will be automatically
approved and within a few hours will then be able to
access the code for Iomega banners and text links, post
them to your site, and begin making money right away!

Q: Can I place the Iomega links or banners anywhere on my site?
A: Yes. Because you understand your site, your
customers and their needs, we give you total flexibility
on place of the Iomega links. Of course, an optimal
placement on your site will increase click-throughs
and sales - resulting in more commissions to you. You
can also improve your opportunity for increased sales
by placing Iomega banners and links in different places
throughout your site and in email communications. Often,
a text link in conjunction with a banner ad will increase
the click-through rate.
Q: How often will new banners become available?
A: We update our banners monthly. You can let
the banners update automatically by allowing us to serve
them or you can select new banners when they become
available and as often as you like.
Q: Can I apply if my web site is not fully
complete, or is "under construction"?
A: If your web site is in the process of being
built or is "under construction",
please apply for the Iomega Affiliates Program when your
web site has been fully completed.
Q: How long does it take to see my sales results?
A: Sales are reflected in your account one to
two business days from the time transactions occur.
Q: Who processes the orders and handles the customer service?
A: Iomega will handle all of the work! We will
process all orders and handle any customer service issues,
guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
