USB 2.0 is an overhaul to the Universal Serial Bus interface
standard which allows much higher speeds than the older USB
1.1 standard. It also inherits the current USB’s Plug
and Play and hot-swapping capability as well as providing backward
compatibility for USB 1.1 hardware, allowing existing users
to upgrade seamlessly.You can identify whether your computer
has Hi-Speed USB relatively easily. Open Device Manager and
expand the Universal Serial Bus section. There should be an
“Enhanced” USB host controller present. |
