The tape drive must be connected directly to the parallel port of the computer. Iomega® does not recommend connecting any other device, except a printer to the Ditto® external drive.

Data corruption or loss may occur if the tape drive is connected to another device, such as a Zip® parallel port drive. Either the Ditto drive or the other device may not work correctly.
