Iomega® Backup software contains two backup programs, The Works and 1-Step Backup. This document addresses 1-Step Backup. If you want instructions for The Works, please go to http://www.iomega.com/support/documents/10799.html

STEP ONE - Select the backup options
  1. Click Start, select Programs and then Iomega Backup.


  2. Click 1-Step Backup.


  3. To use the default settings, select Backup Now. The default settings will back up your entire hard drive to the first Iomega drive on your system. If you wish to configure 1-Step Backup, continue with the next step.



STEP TWO - Configure 1-Step Backup
  1. Click Start, select Programs and then Iomega Backup.


  2. Click 1-Step Properties.


  3. Click the General Tab.


  4. Click the Change button.


  5. Select the Iomega drive you wish to back up to.


  6. Select the File Selection tab.


  7. Click the plus sign (+) next to My Computer.


  8. Select the drive(s) or files(s) you wish to back up. A check mark will appear when a directory or file is selected.


    1. Click the plus sign (+) next to the drive to expand the selections.


    2. Click the directory(s) and/or file(s) you wish to backup. When a directory or file is selected, there will be a check mark in the box.


  9. Click the OK button.


STEP THREE - Start the backup
  1. Click Start, select Programs and then Iomega Backup.


  2. Click 1-Step Backup.


  3. Click the Backup Now button.
