What is the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive?
The PocketZip™ PC Card Drive is the most convenient way for notebook users to protect their most important files. The PocketZip™ PC Card Drive is a PC Card-sized removable storage product similar to Iomega®'s Zip® drive, which uses removable disks to store files from your notebook computer. The capacity of each PocketZip™ disk is 40MB**. The entire drive and disk fit into the PC Card slot of your notebook computer.
Who is the target customer for the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive?
The PocketZip™ PC Card Drive was designed to specifically meet the needs of the notebook user.
What are the benefits of PocketZip™ PC Card Drive?
Convenience. The PocketZip™ PC Card Drive and PocketZip disks provide easy backup, exchange and file mobility for PC notebook users.

Mobility. The PocketZip™ PC Card Drive fits completely into a notebook computer's PC Card slot making it a "nothing extra" carry solution.

At a RRP of A$229 and NZ$325 (inc.GST) the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive is an affordable solution to notebook users. 40MB** PocketZip™ disks are available at an RRP as low as A$20.90 and NZ$28.90 (inc.GST) per disk, when purchased in a 10-pack. Extra disks are available in 2 and 10 packs.

Notebook users currently use a variety of storage options, among them 1.44MB floppies, Zip® and Jaz® drives and disks.

Nominal. When the drive is not in use it will power down and remain in sleep mode.
What notebooks are compatible with the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive?
PC notebooks with a standard PC Card slot running Windows® 95 or 98.
Will the capacity of the PocketZip™ disk increase?
There is a theoretical limit to our technology, and we believe it can be increased. But we have not publicly announced our capacity roadmap at this time. We have spoken with our customers, and 40MB** is adequate capacity for notebook users. A 40MB** PocketZip™ disk holds more than the equivalent of 25 floppies.
What about a Mac version of the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive?
We will support the Mac platform in future PocketZip™ products.
Where does the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive show up on the PC notebook?
Upon installation, a drive letter (usually E:/) is assigned to the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive. You can access the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive through Windows® Explorer and the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.
How do I save, copy, move and delete files from the PocketZip™ disk?
PocketZip™ disks function like other removable disks (e.g. floppy and Zip® disks) in terms of copying, saving, moving and deleting files. After inserting the PocketZip™ disk into the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive, all of the Windows® functions can be accessed accordingly (e.g. save, copy, paste, drag, drop and delete).
What will be bundled with the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive?
One 40MB** PocketZip™ disk, an IomegaWare™ software CD-ROM, QuikSync software for real-time, all-the-time backups and a user's manual will come bundled with the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive.
What type of software comes with the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive?
In addition to operating software, the PocketZip™ PC Card Drive includes QuikSync software. QuikSync software is a simple way to automatically back up your most important files while additionally performing version tracking.
