Lexmark® International's Photo Jetprinter™ 5770 made printing digital images a snap with the addition of a parallel port interface designed specifically to connect a Zip® drive to the printer, and a built-in flash card reader. This convenient setup serves two purposes. First, users can simply bypass their PC and print digital photos directly from the Zip® drive connected to the printer. Second, using the flash card reader, the Photo Jetprinter can print images from Compact Flash and Smart Media cards, then download the images to inexpensive Zip® disks, freeing costly camera cards for more pictures. The printer's added hardware features make it easy to create digital photo albums on Zip® disks.

In continuing to pursue their goal of making digital photography accessible, even for people who don't own a computer, Lexmark has also come out with the Kodak Personal Picture Maker by Lexmark. With the Personal Picture Maker, you don't have to worry about uploading, downloading, overloading or any other kind of loading… With no software to slog through, all you have to do is press a button to print directly from the camera card. And by transferring your images to the Personal Picture Maker's Zip® drive, you'll be able to free up room on the camera card to take even more pictures.
