Iomega Teams Up With Juniper Networks and VeriSign Corporation For Global Managed Services Initiative

SAN DIEGO, October 23, 2006 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data storage and protection, today announced that it has developed fully managed Internet security solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that utilize best-in-class solutions from Juniper Networks, Inc. and VeriSign, Inc.

Iomega's OfficeScreen suite of SMB-focused managed security solutions incorporates security appliances from Juniper Networks. These offerings include Juniper Networks firewall, IPSec site-to-site VPN, Unified Threat Management and SSL VPN solutions with VeriSign two-factor authentication.

Currently small and medium-sized businesses in the U.S. utilize OfficeScreen as a secure, reliable outsourced network security and VPN service that is cost-effective, doesn't require upfront hardware expenses, dedicated IT resources or large IT budgets. OfficeScreen, which includes Juniper Networks industry-leading firewall/VPN, SSL VPN and IPSec bundles, creates secure wide area networks that connect remote offices and workers to applications and data at a company's headquarters, while countering security threats from hackers, worms and viruses across a company's entire network.

Iomega offers its OfficeScreen managed security solutions to businesses through channel partners in North America, and will market these services in Europe in the near future.

Adding to Iomega's OfficeScreen Managed Services, the Juniper Networks SSL VPN appliance enables organizations to provide cost-effective remote access, partner extranet services and intranet security. It utilizes SSL as a secure transport mechanism and does not require a client to be deployed on mobile and remote users' computing devices. Little or no changes are required to internal servers. Based on the award-winning Juniper Networks Instant Virtual Extranet (IVE) technology, the Secure Access appliance also features rich access privilege management functionality, performance scalability, and a high availability design, meeting enterprise class needs.

In August, Iomega closed its acquisition of managed services provider CSCI, the 2006 winner of the Juniper Networks, Inc. "Managed Services Provider of the Year" award, and the creator of OfficeScreen managed security services.

According to independent market analysis, the global market for managed security services is expected to be $2.9 billion in 2006, growing to $3.7 billion in 2008.
