Iomega Enhances Iomega
Super DVD Drives
with Sonic® MyDVD® v6
SAN DIEGO,
February 28, 2005 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE:
IOM), a global leader in data storage, and Sonic Solutions®
(NASDAQ: SNIC), the leader in digital media software,
today announced that Sonic’s MyDVD® v6 software
will begin shipping immediately with the newly announced
Iomega Super DVD Writer 16x16 Dual-Format USB 2.0 Drive,
bringing new features and ease of use to Iomega Super
DVD drive customers.
Sonic MyDVD v6 is an OEM edition of the award-winning
Sonic MyDVD Studio™ v6 application, which PC Magazine
recently called “the easiest-to-use DVD-creation
package we’ve tested” (“Best of the
Year,” Dec. 28, 2004).
Sonic MyDVD v6 adds many important new features to
enhance the DVD creation experience for Iomega customers,
both for video and slideshow creation:

With MyDVD v6, Iomega Super DVD users can customize
their video creations with new built-in styles and over
100 new transitions. In addition, a new Disc Importer
feature helps edit the contents of existing DVDs created
by non-Sonic products.

Compatibility
Sonic MyDVD v6 software for the Iomega Super DVD drive
is compatible with computers running Windows® 98SE/98,
Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP (Home/Pro/MCE).
Supported capture devices include DV and Digital8 camcorders
via IEEE-1394/FireWire/i.Link, MPEG capture devices,
analog capture devices, and DirectShow-compliant capture
devices.
