SAN DIEGO, March 16, 2005 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data storage, today launched the Iomega® External Hard Drive Silver Series, a Hi-Speed USB (USB 2.0) external device that also includes Iomega® Automatic Backup software for a simple, cost-effective backup solution in the home or small office.

Available in capacities of 80GB, 160GB and 250GB*, Iomega’s External Hard Drive Silver Series comes dressed in a silver enclosure that looks great on any desktop. With 7200 RPM performance and plug-and-play installation, it is also one of the simplest, most affordable ways to store valuable music, photos, videos and other large files.
