Leading Personal Storage Solution Company Supports The
VH1 Save The Music Foundation With Six-City Informational Tour
SAN DIEGO,
August 24, 2004 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE:
IOM), a global leader in data storage, announced
today a national "Save Everything" campaign
to educate consumers on how to save, share and protect
their digital music, images, video and other important
data. Iomega's "Save Everything" campaign is
also supporting the VH1 Save The Music Foundation to
raise awareness and donations for the non-profit organization,
which is dedicated to restoring music education programs
in America's public schools.
Kicking off the first weekend in September, Iomega's "Save
Everything" mobile center will appear at outdoor festivals
and malls in the Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco,
Los Angeles and San Diego metro areas to show consumers
how computer storage accessories can save and protect
digital files of all types. The mobile Iomega
booth will feature award-winning storage
products such as the new Iomega 35GB REV(TM) Drive, the
popular Zip® Drives, high-performance external
hard drives, Mini and Micro Mini(TM) USB Drives, CD-RW
drives and rewriteable DVD drives. Other activities
include the chance to enter and win a Grand Prize drawing
for two tickets to the VH1 Big in '04 celebrity concert
held in Los Angeles; the grand prize includes airfare
and accommodations. The traveling Iomega "Save
Everything" center will also offer the chance to win
a variety of instant prizes along with more information
about the VH1 Save The Music Foundation .
To support the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, Iomega
will donate $15,000 to the non-profit organization.
