IOMEGA ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

SAN DIEGO, June 10, 2004 ­ Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM) today announced that Thomas D. Kampfer, currently vice president, general counsel and secretary, has been named interim chief financial officer effective June 11, 2004.

“I have high confidence in Tom’s ability to lead the finance team on an interim basis, as he has strong knowledge of Iomega’s business, processes, systems, and all aspects of Iomega’s financial reporting and corporate governance," said Werner Heid , Iomega’s president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Kampfer replaces Barry Zwarenstein who, as previously announced, is leaving Iomega to pursue an opportunity in the San Francisco bay area where he resides. Mr. Kampfer is expected to serve in this interim position while the Company concludes the recruiting process and names a permanent chief financial officer.
