Iomega Network Attached Storage Servers Now Range From 160GB to 2TB

SAN DIEGO, September 25, 2003 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data storage, today released two new NAS (network attached storage) servers for small and medium-sized businesses and enterprise workgroups: the Iomega NAS 400m 1TB server and the Iomega NAS 800m 2TB server.

NAS 400m 1TB Server: A Mid-Range Powerhouse
The Microsoft® Windows® powered Iomega® NAS 400m 1TB server is the capacity leader in the Iomega NAS 400m Series, which also includes 320GB and 640GB models. All models deliver a complete storage solution right out of the box, with full versions of Iomega® Automatic Backup software and Computer Associates eTrust™ Antivirus 7.0 software and a live trial version of Veritas™ Backup Exec™ 9.0 for Windows Servers™.

Hardware features include four 250GB drives for 1TB total capacity (735GB configured as a RAID 5 array), dual Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, 1GB of ECC DDR RAM, an Intel® P4 2.6 GHz processor, and a SCSI 160 LVD port for tape backup, in a 1U form factor. High-availability features include a redundant OS, true hot-swap drives, and Ethernet failover.

NAS 800m 2TB Server: Enterprise-Level Performance, Priced for Departments
The Microsoft Windows powered Iomega NAS 800m 2TB server is designed for superior performance. With eight 250GB drives in a 2U rackmount enclosure, the 800m 2TB server delivers speed and reliability for data-intense backup, file serving, server consolidation, and business continuity roles.

Hardware features include a full 1.67TB of RAID 5 capacity, dual Intel® Xeon™ 2.4 GHz processors with Hyper-Threading technology, dual Gigabit (Cu) Ethernet connectivity with a TCP/IP Offload Engine (TOE) for enhanced performance, 2GB of ECC DDR RAM, and a SCSI 160 LVD port for tape backup. High-availability features include a redundant OS and true hot-swap drives, fans, power supplies, and Ethernet connections.

Both the 400m 1TB server and the 800m 2TB server come standard with Iomega Gold Plus warranty coverage, which includes three years of next-business-day on-site service along with free dedicated 24/7 phone support and email technical support. Service upgrades are available.

Price and Availability
The Iomega NAS 400m 1TB server is available for $6,999; The Iomega NAS 800m 2TB server, for $17,999. Both products are shipping now and available through Iomega resellers (all prices are U.S. estimated retail).
