Iomega’s Full Line of Network Attached Storage Products Now Available
From Bell Microproducts

SAN DIEGO, June 2, 2003 — Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data storage, today announced an agreement with Bell Microproducts, Inc. (NASDAQ: BELM), a leading value-added provider of storage products and solutions, under which Bell Microproducts will distribute Iomega’s full line of network attached storage (NAS) products.

Effective immediately, Iomega’s innovative NAS products are now available to Bell Microproducts’ large customer base of storage-centric VARs (value-added resellers) servicing the small and medium-sized business market in the U.S

“We are pleased to be working with Bell Microproducts to make Iomega NAS servers available to a broader community of VARs and system integrators in the United States,” said Greg Rhine, vice president and general manager of Americas region, Iomega Corporation. “Bell Microproducts is a recognized solutions expert for storage-focused resellers in key vertical markets. As Iomega rolls out several exciting new NAS products this year, we now have a unique new channel player in Bell Microproducts that furthers our efforts to make Iomega NAS products the storage choice for SMB users.”

Jerry Kagele, executive vice president, computer products, Bell Microproducts, said, “Bell Microproducts has established itself as the Storage Super Store. VARs want to specify the optimal products for the solutions they represent. The Iomega brand is in high demand and will be an important product for our SMB VAR customers.”

Iomega Top of The Line NAS Servers
Iomega offers a full line of NAS servers that range in capacity from 160 gigabytes to 1.4 terabytes. Iomega recently began shipping the new Iomega® NAS P800m and P850m servers, which provide up to 1260GB of RAID 5 storage capacity (1440GB total usable drive capacity) with virtually 100 percent uptime, thanks to hot-swappable power supplies, fans and drives. And because they are Microsoft® Windows® Powered, the P800m and P850m servers are storage devices that network administrators can easily integrate into Windows 2000 networks.

Iomega Entry Level NAS Servers
Iomega also recently announced two new entry level NAS servers that deliver superior performance and value for small businesses and workgroups: the Iomega NAS A205m and the A305m, as well as a complete refresh of the Iomega P400 series of mid-range NAS servers. Iomega is now offering small and medium-sized businesses a complete line of NAS products for storing, backing up, and recovering critical business data.

The Iomega® NAS A205m server breaks the $1000 price barrier with a Windows® powered NAS server offering 160GB of usable capacity, RAID 1 (disk mirroring) capability, 10/100 Fast Ethernet, and Iomega Automatic Backup client software. The Iomega® NAS A205m puts reliable file serving and backup functions within reach of even the smallest IT budgets. The Iomega® NAS A305m server builds on the core features of the A205m. It increases usable storage capacity to 240GB and adds mid-range features like RAID 5 (disk striping with parity) capability and a Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) network connection.

Iomega Mid-Range NAS Servers
The new Iomega® NAS P435m, P440m, and P445m servers refresh the midrange Iomega NAS lineup with new features that include a Pentium® 4 processor, high-speed error-correction code memory, dual Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) (Cu) ports, and a standard SCSI port for tape backup. Designed to be easy to manage and maintain, the P400 series NAS servers also feature four hot-swappable hard drives in a 1U rack-mount enclosure.
