Iomega Announces ISO 9001:2000 Certification
For Its Sites In U.S., Canada, and Latin America

SAN DIEGO, October 27, 2003 ­ Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data storage, today announced that it has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for its operations in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

The ISO 9001:2000 quality management certification means that a company meets the required standard in the processes it uses to accomplish its work and deliver goods or services. The new standard, introduced in December 2000, consolidates three previous ISO designations: ISO 9001, ISO 9002, and ISO 9003. Iomega had earned ISO 9001:1994 certification in 1999.
