Companies Working Together to Simplify Windows® Based Storage Solutions

SAN DIEGO, September 9, 2003 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in network storage solutions, today announced a new partnership with VERITAS Software to promote Windows-based Iomega NAS server solutions with VERITAS Backup Exec™, the industry’s leading backup and recovery software for Windows , through value-added resellers worldwide.

Iomega will include a 60-day trial version of VERITAS Backup Exec 9.0 for Windows Servers software across its Microsoft NAS servers, beginning this month with the P800 series. The VERITAS Backup Exec 9.0 software will provide customers with a seamless backup solution that is ready to use, right out of the box.
