New Drive Delivers Fast and Easy-to-Use DVD/CD Burning Solution

SAN DIEGO, June 4, 2003 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data storage, today entered the writeable DVD market with the new Iomega® Dual DVD ATAPI drive. With 4x2x12x DVD performance and 16x10x40x CD-RW (write/rewrite/read) capabilities, Iomega’s new Dual DVD ATAPI drive lets creative enthusiasts use a single drive to save and share their music, photos, videos and more.

Fast, Efficient, Easy To Use
The Iomega® Dual DVD ATAPI drive is a complete hardware-software solution that offers compatibility with today’s DVD-based devices. In fact, the DVD+R/+RW standard was designed for compatibility with consumer DVD-video players, so standard DVD players can replay a DVD+RW disc without requiring a time-consuming “finalization” process at the end of a recording session. Digital audio enthusiasts will also appreciate the drive’s 32x audio ripping speeds (DAE) and buffer under run protection for extra reliability.

Multiple Recording and Rewrite Capabilities
The Iomega Dual DVD ATAPI drive can read and record DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, and CD-RW formats. In addition to its re-writeable capabilities, the new Iomega Dual DVD ATAPI drive will also read CD-ROM and DVD-ROM discs. The drive records up to two hours of high quality DVD video or other data on a 4.7 GB DVD disc, and up to 700 MB of video, music, or image data on a CD disc. With the Dual DVD ATAPI drive and a flatbed scanner, slide scanner, or analog video capture card, users can also transfer old videos and photos to optical DVD or CD formats for safekeeping and archiving.

The Iomega® Dual DVD ATAPI drive comes with software valued at over $179.95, including Sonic MyDVD video editing software, Sonic™ Cineplayer software for the highest quality video playback, MusicMatch™ Jukebox music management software and Adobe® ActiveShare photo management software. Also included is Iomega’s award-winning HotBurn® Pro software, which allows for easy 2-step CD burning, and Iomega’s own Automatic Backup software which makes data backups to DVD or CD hassle-free.
