Iomega Launches Comprehensive Service
Programs For Network Attached Storage Customers
SAN DIEGO, November
6, 2002 - Iomega Corporation(NYSE: IOM), a global
leader in data storage, announced today the introduction
of Gold and Gold Plus service plans for its network
attached storage (NAS) customers. The company launched
these new services in conjunction with the debut of
its newest NAS product, the Iomega NAS P415.
Iomega NAS products come with a limited
warranty of one, two, or three years, depending upon
the model. The Gold and Gold Plus service plans extend
the limited warranty to three years for models with
a one or two-year limited warranty. In addition, the
Gold plan offers one year of onsite, next-business-day
repair coverage. The Gold Plus service plan includes
three years of onsite, next-business-day repair coverage.
Both service plans incorporate 24x7
phone and email technical support services, as well
as Iomega's award-winning Web-based customer support,
which features 24x7 one-on-one "live chat".

Iomega NAS
Product Features
The Iomega NAS P415, with a capacity of 720GB, is available
in both UNIX versions and as Windows® Powered units
that give customers the choice of high-performance Gigabit
Ethernet or SCSI backup options. The NAS P415 ships
with Iomega® Automatic Backup software, a data protection
program that automates designated file backups. Hardware
features include a 1 GHz Intel® Pentium® III
processor; hot-swappable 180 GB ATA hard drives; RAID
0, 1, and 5; and dual 10/100 Ethernet ports.
Price and Availability
The Iomega NAS P415u has a suggested retail
price of $5,499; the Iomega NAS P415m and the Iomega
NAS P415m with gigabit Ethernet support each have a
suggested retail price of $5,999. (Pricing is U.S. only.)
All three products are available for shipment this week.
Iomega's total line of NAS products range in storage
capacity sizes from 160GB to 720GB.
The Gold service plan is standard
with the Iomega NAS P415, and is available as an option
with the Iomega P400, P405 and P410 series. The Gold
Plus service plan is an option on the full line of Iomega
NAS servers. Gold service plans start at $799, and gold
Plus service plans start at $899. (All pricing is U.S.
