Iomega Partners with I-Jam Multimedia to Distribute
Pre-Recorded Content on Affordable, Portable Media
ROY, Utah, January 8, 2001
- Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in
data management solutions, today announced that I-Jam
Multimedia L.L.C. will distribute pre-recorded content
on Iomega's PocketZipTM disks beginning this month at
select Tower Records, Wherehouse Records, Musicland,
Borders and on the Internet at MediaBay.com.
As an Iomega licensee, I-Jam will distribute pre-recorded
content on its new License PlateTM, or LP format, using
Iomega 40MB PocketZip disks. Pre-recorded content will
include music, best-selling books, classic radio shows
and digital magazines. Featured musical artists include
the Charlie Daniels Band and Al Green as well as audio
book titles by John Grisham and Danielle Steele.

I-Jam's pre-recorded content will be packaged in CD
jewel cases, allowing participating retailers to use
current racks to display the new LPs. The LP will sell
for a suggested retail price of $19.98 for music and
$29.99 for books.
