FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

E-Marketplace Provides Iomega Opportunity to Reach 10,000 Intel Product Dealers

ROY, Utah, February 20, 2001 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data management solutions, today announced it will be a supplier for the Intel® Business Advantage Portal. This business-to-business marketplace gives Iomega new access to approximately 10,000 Intel Product Dealers in North America. Intel created the Intel Business Advantage Portal to make it easier for Intel Product Dealers to offer their customers complete PC and server solutions while achieving cost efficiencies.

"Working with Intel on the Intel Business Advantage Portal allows Iomega to reach a growing number of system integrators and give them the opportunity to incorporate Iomega products right into the system," said Herbert K. Scales, senior vice president, sales, Iomega Corporation. "As file sizes continue to grow, the average person's storage needs have expanded well beyond the capacity of the floppy; Iomega products solve those capacity issues. Joining the Intel Business Advantage Portal gives Iomega direct access to the resellers that can make it happen."

Suppliers to the Intel Business Advantage Portal benefit by having their products displayed in an e-marketplace, and Intel Product Dealers benefit with discounts on components and solutions such as software, hardware, peripherals, Internet access, and e-Commerce services. Intel Product Dealers are also eligible to receive rebates and commissions on services and product offerings based on sales. To participate, Intel Product Dealers need only register with Intel via their e-business network at http://channel.intel.com.

"Suppliers such as Iomega are an integral part of the Intel Business Advantage Portal, as they help enable Intel channel members to differentiate themselves in an evolving Internet economy," said Jim Yasso, vice president and general manager of Intel's Reseller Products Division. "We are excited to be working with Iomega on this program."

Effective immediately, Iomega will make its Zip® 100MB and 250MB internal drives available through the Intel Business Advantage Portal.
