FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Iomega Enters Joint Marketing Agreement With Adobe For Iomega's New Peerless Drive System

ROY, Utah, May 29, 2001 – Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in
data management solutions, today announced a joint marketing agreement with
industry-leading software producer Adobe Systems Incorporated which supports the
recent launch of Iomega's new high-capacity PeerlessTM drive system.

The agreement calls for information about Iomega's new Peerless drive and Peerless
10GB and 20GB disks to be placed on Adobe.com and in the boxes of Adobe®
Photoshop® software packages.

"Adobe's customers create rich multimedia content, and they are a prime target
audience for Iomega's high-performance, high-capacity Peerless system. A 20 gigabyte
Peerless disk can hold multimedia files too large to fit on a CD or DVD disk," said
Doug Collier, senior vice president, marketing and product management, Iomega
Corporation. "This agreement allows us to reach a high-potential customer base and
also introduces our customers to the unique benefits of Adobe Photoshop Elements
software."

Iomega will offer both FireWire® and USB interface modules for the Peerless drive
system, providing easy connectivity and high performance to Windows® and
Macintosh® computer users alike. Users of both platforms can order the Peerless drive
system today at http://www.iomega.com.

"With fast and easy connections to devices such as digital cameras, DV camcorders,
MP3 players, and PDAs, along with industry-leading bundled applications such as
iTunes and iMovie, the Macintosh platform is today's digital hub," said Ron Okamoto,
Apple's vice president of worldwide developer relations. "Iomega's Peerless technology
is a great solution that enables both professional customers and consumers alike to
easily store the results of their digital lifestyles."

Apple's Macintosh platform also offers innovative software and cutting-edge hardware
technologies that enable both consumer and professional computer users to easily take
advantage of today's most advanced digital solutions.

As part of Iomega's joint marketing agreement with Adobe, a trial version of Adobe
Photoshop Elements software for Windows and Macintosh will be included with
Iomega Zip® 100MB and 250MB drives. Adobe Photoshop Elements offers unique
features designed specifically for amateur photographers, hobbyists, and business users
who want an easy-to-use, yet powerful digital imaging solution. The software
implements Adobe's state-of-the-art image-editing tools. The software's flexible image-
capture options let users work with photos taken with digital or traditional cameras, and
versatile delivery features enable users to prepare images for print, e-mail, or posting on
the Web.

"Digital imaging professionals face the challenge of storing high-quality, high-
resolution images that take up a large amount of disk space," said Kevin Connor, group
product manager of imaging products at Adobe. "By storing images on Iomega's new
format, users don't need to worry about size constraints, and can more freely explore all
the creative options that Adobe's software offers."

Iomega Peerless Drives
Peerless disks slip into a base station only slightly larger than the disk itself—a slim,
vertical enclosure that minimizes the footprint on the desktop. The Peerless drive
system's modular design, high capacity and hard-drive performance open up an entirely
new class of devices. With sustained FireWire transfer rates of up to 15 MB/sec, the
Peerless drive system is an affordable, high performance hardware solution.
