FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Iomega Partners With Television.com For Club Iomega

ROY, Utah, December 4, 2000 - Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a global leader in data management solutions, recently welcomed television.com as an initial partner in providing unique content to Club Iomega, the company's recently announced multimedia content site.

Early last month, Club Iomega launched a television.com sweepstakes offering the chance to win a day on the set of the new syndicated one-hour show, Andromeda, starring Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) and Lexa Doig (Andromeda) and created by Gene Roddenberry (Star Trek). The winner and guest will be flown to Vancouver to spend a day on the set with the cast and crew of the show; and enjoy a day of sightseeing, with $200 a day as part of the prize.

"television.com serves as a portal to the rapidly growing segment of online TV content, which is why we are excited to provide members with an exclusive television.com contribution to Club Iomega," said Germaine Ward, vice president, software and eBusiness solutions, Iomega Corporation. "The sweepstakes is a great way to introduce Club Iomega to our customers."

Iomega and television.com launched their partnership at one of the industry's top tradeshows, Comdex, held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lexa Doig, who plays Andromeda Ascendant, appeared at the booth to promote the show, sign autographs, and take photos with guests. The photos were displayed at the booth on Iomega's FotoShow(tm) digital image center, and also retrievable online at www.television.com/iomega/comdex.

Zip disks destined for retail sales worldwide, will also contain a link to Club Iomega beginning in January. Shipping nearly five million disks a month, Iomega offers television.com the opportunity to reach a broad customer base.

The Andromeda Sweepstakes will be the first of three promotions television.com and Club Iomega will offer over the next few months. "Because of our unique position as an online resource for everything about television, and our solid partnerships with broadcast and cable networks, we are able to work with brand marketers to bring them exciting television content," said Wendy Winks, vice president of corporate marketing and partnerships, television.com.

The relationship between Iomega and television.com also extends to the television.com Web site, where Iomega will be the presenting sponsor of TV2K, a section dedicated to convergence and new television technologies.
