NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 2000--Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM), a global leader in data management solutions, today announced that the first Clik!(TM)-based portable digital media player from Sensory Science Corporation (AMEX:VCR) will begin shipping next month. The RaveMP 2300 digital media player with a built-in Clik! drive gives music enthusiasts virtually unlimited, affordable access to their music libraries. "The RaveMP 2300 digital media player brings the power of Clik! technology's low-cost, high-capacity storage solutions to the digital audio movement," said Bruce Albertson, president and CEO, Iomega Corporation. "Digital audio players with a Clik! drive built-in offer a simple solution to assemble custom music libraries from the Internet or personal CDs, and make it possible and affordable to take those personal music collections anywhere. The inclusion of the Clik!(TM) drive in Sensory Science's newest portable digital media player provides consumers with enhanced capabilities and functions not found in competing flash memory-based players, including unlimited memory expansion at a significantly reduced cost. Competing flash memory expansion cards cost consumers approximately $100 (U.S.) for one 32MB card, while RaveMP 2300 users can purchase Clik! disks for an estimated street price of $9.99 (U.S.) each, when purchased in a 10-pack. With the RaveMP 2300 and a few tiny Clik! disks, changing music is as simple as inserting a new disk.
